| AdminHistory | The Rugby Combined Charities Christmas Card Shop (RCCCCS) started out in 1967 as a charity fundraising scheme by fifth formers at Lawrence Sheriff School using the showrooms at Parkside Garage. By the 1970s, the shop was run by committee of volunteers instead of students and continued to use the showrooms at Parkside Garage. The shop was held at solicitors Bretherton Turpin and Pell in 1987 and 1988, but moved to St Andrew's parish church in 1989. In 1999, RCCCCs raised over £20,000 for 25 charities. RCCCCS closed in 2018. |
