DescriptionThe justices should be informed by the sheriff of the day of caption and he is to summon William and Alice to appear before the justices within the quindene of The Holy Trinity next to answer and to show why they did not appear at Westminster within the quindene of St. Michael as they were summoned: the sheriff shall also send the names of those under whom the caption was made.
