| Description | Thomas Wodhull of Mollington, esquire, and William Taylor of Willescote, Oxon, gent sold the manor of Farnborough to Ambrose Holbech of Mollington, gent, for £8700, and paid out the purchase money the debts owed and legacies as set out in George Ralegh's will, apart from a mortgage of £2000 and interest to Francis Grey, widow, so that there was now £2226 3s 2d left from the original sum. This sum was paid to Ambrose Holbech to pay the mortgage of £2000.
