My dear Father,
There will start by the Mail Cart tomorrow Friday leaving at 6.30 a salmon nibs caught by the ReCtor in th ettle Pool on the Kirkaig River this day, which ought to arrive at Nuneaton at about 6 o'clock on Saturday. It is worthwhile if you get this in time to send down for it,hope it may be in good enough preservation to make for a dinner on Sunday. At any rate being very proud of it as (the) fish I have caught I have pleasure in sending it.
We are going to Scourie on Saturday. The Hotel there- We have made the acquaintance of Mr. McIver the Dukes Factor, who has promised me fishing there - and there is Handa Island to see. Thence we come home.
I am afaid this letter will arrive later than the fish so shall send a telegram
