July 14th, 1900

To the Vicar of Bedworth,

Dear Sir,

I was much obliged and pleased to receive your letter of July 4th, 1900, and would have replied earlier but have been exceedingly busy.

I thank you for your kind information; it was rather what I had expected and heard in the neighborhood of Griff. Thank you very much for the trouble of writing me.

Will you kindly accept a little memento of my visit to Griff in June of this year. It is as you will see George Eliot 's Birthplace.

Again thanking you,

Very respectfully,

Florence Burleigh
