DescriptionIn 1637 the messuage, then occupied by William and Rose was settled to the use of William their son on his marriage with Helen Horsfield of Pitchley, Northants; in 1653, William Watts the younger, yeoman, now of Gateshead, Durham, conveyed a messuage, close of pasture and 4 acres of arable land, in Great Addington by his brother Richard, to Thomas Bletsoe, gentleman of Great Addington.
