| AdminHistory | Leicester Road was built as a mixed council school in 1912. In about 1944 it was split into separate Senior and Primary Schools, but occupying the same site. The Senior School merged with Nicholas Chamberlaine Comprehensive in 1952, and the last senior pupils moved out in 1960. The Primary School was renamed Lecicester Road Infant & Junior School in 1955, and Leicester Road Combined School in 1960. The school closed in 1986, and Race Leys First School took over the site. |
