DescriptionLeased for 14 years to Elizabeth Findon, 21st December 1850, who made an agreement with the feoffees respecting certain alterations to the property, 31st January, 1851, and surrendered the lease so that the term and interest might be merged into the freehold and inheritance of the same, 24th March 1859. The property, as improved and altered by John N. Wilkins, was leased for 14 years to Martha Owen, widow and haberdasher of Coventry, 23rd June 1871; and on 4th June 1885 and 10th June 1886 it was leased for seven years and then 14 years to Adam Mountford and Alexander Bryce of Cross Cheaping, when it was described as being No. 12 Cross Cheaping, now in the occupation of Martha Owen. The dorse of one of the 1886 leases contains an assignment by Mountford to Bryce of the former's interest in the lease, 26th April 1892.
