DescriptionEnclosing legal papers relating to the same, 10 Jan 1905 (DR0261/13/1), viz. draft conveyance from Francis Wigley Greswolde Williams of Bredenbury Court (Herefords.), esq., to the vicar and churchwardens of Meriden of a piece of land (1,691 sq. yds.) situated on the NW boundary of the present churchyard to be held for ever (free of tithe rent charge) as part of the churchyard (with a proviso re the reversion/remainder expectant on the estate for life or other estate of the vendor in the undivided shares of the piece of land, covenants to erect fences etc. and Schedules of the property). The deed recites the indentures of settlement (dated 22 Sep 1879 and 22 Feb 1895) by which the vendor acquired his beneficial interest for life, with remainders over, in the two-thirds and one-third share respectively of (inter alia) the property. Consideration: £52 8s. (£34 18s.8d. and £17 9s.4d. to the trustees of each settlement respectively). The deed also has an annexed plan of the parcel and surrounding area (Coloured. Scale 1:2,500). 9 pp. 8 Sep 1904.
Endorsed with memoranda of enrolment (in the Central Office of the Supreme Court of Judicature), 20 Oct 1904, engrossments and the deposition of the original conveyance at Worcester Diocesan Registry, 10 June 1905 (DR0261/13/2); Abstract of the Title of the vendor to a small piece of pasture called Little Hill Piece (3a.0r.15p.) in Meriden (forming part of the Malvern Hall Estate), 1904 (1855-1895), reciting, inter alia, the trust settlements in DR0261/13/2 and including solicitors' marginalia and annotations. 25 pp. (DR0261/13/3); Supplemental Abstract of the Title of the vendor to the same, 1904 (1885-1896), 8 pp.(DR0261/13/4); written consent of the Rev. F.W. Kittermaster of Bayston Hill Vicarage, Shrewsbury, to the proposed churchyard extension with plan (as in DR0261/13/2 above) annexed, 17 June 1904, and written consent of C.S. Howitt and Luke Pearman to the same, No Date, 1904(DR0261/13/5).
