| Description | (1) build a new vestry room.
(2) take down the gallery belonging to the trustees of Lawrence Sheriff's School and to appropriate it towards a larger gallery for the accommodation of the children's schools (with a conditional reservation that the trustees may use it, if required, until use it, if required, until their proposed chapel is built.
(3) take down the seat projecting from the School gallery (or incorporate it in the gallery for the poor).
(4) enlarge the existing church and to build new seats, pews, sitting places and galleries (with staircases leading thereto) in the enlarged areas ("some provision [to] be made for accommodating the Poor with seats").
(5) sell and allot the seats in the new and old part of the Church (the galleries to be allotted to the Childrens School and Poor of the parish).
With references to Vestry meetings, estimates of cost of alterations, subscriptions (for providing accommodation for the poor and children's schools) etc. and with 2 annexed plans of proposed additions (ground floor) and galleries in the old and new parts of the church. 9 Mar 1814. |
