| Description | Some of these were used to illustrate an article by E. Carey-Hill Kenilworth Abbey. A record of the ruins excavated in 1890 and 1922-3, in transactions of the Birmingham Archaeological Society, Vol LII pt. 1 1927 pp 184-227. It is there stated that the author is principally indebted to Mr. Sidney Loveridge of Kenilworth for taking photographs during the summer of 1926 and to a lesser extent for photographs taken at the time of the excavation in 1922 and 1923 by members of the Coventry Photographic Club and Mr. Herbert New. |
