DescriptionOf Sir Thomas Trevor, knight, one of the Barons of the Exchequer and owner of the Manor of Lemington Hastinges, Sir Edward Peytoe of Chesterton and others, feoffees of Davies' Charity, reciting that Humphrey Davies deceased of Lemyngton Hastings, schoolmaster, by his will dated 17 December, 5 James I (1608), bequeathed his lands in Lemington Hastings, Burdingbury, Marton and Eythropp in trust for the maintenance of 8 poor people in his Almshouses in Lemyngton-Hastinges, and praying for a subpoena against Henry Clarke, yeoman, William Vyner of Warwick, gent, and other occupiers of the land.
