Clay, Atkins & Cocks of Nuneaton, solicitors p.p. Aylesford, W.P. Evans of Leamington, the Ecclesiastical Commission et al. (and copies of out-letters from S.G. Waters to Swinnerton et al.) re Aylesford's liability for the corn rent charged in favour of the benefice on land allotted to him under the Meriden Enclosure Act of 1785 and the conversion of the same to rent charges (and referring to the sale of land in Meriden parish) including tabulated particulars of the lands made subject to the corn rent which have been sold (detailing tenant, holding, area etc.), TS copies of the clauses in the 1785 Enclosure Act relating to the corn rent and other papers comparing areas in the Award and their respective acreages etc. 5 Oct 1919 - 4 Oct 1920(DR0261/30/1-39); printed Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries leaflet Tithe Acts, 1836 to 1925 giving instructions for redemption, etc., 1926(DR0261/30/40); correspondence from Clay & Cocks of Nuneaton, solicitors, to the vicar informing him that their Offices have been damaged by enemy action and in checking through their Strong Room they came across "papers relating to the Corn Rents including correspondence with the Solicitors to the Aylesford Estate", as in DR0261/30/1-39, 30 May 1941(DR0261/30/41).
