| Description | Written at Calais, 19th April [between 1457 and 1459]. Seal: sealed on dorse with the earl's signet seal, displaying a bear and ragged staff (red wax, protected by a twisted band of hay). Neville was captain of Calais in 1455, but did not go there until the autumn of 1456. He was in Ireland in April 1460, and Oldhall died late in 1460.
