| Description | James Hancock died c.1811. He is known to have had two brothers, John, died before 1811, and Stephen, died before 1812. These brothers were referred to by James' sons as 'uncle John' and 'uncle Stephen'. The sons Stephen and John, received a moiety of James' estate (CR224/1), and in addition Stephen received a legacy from 'uncle John'. |
