[1835 addition of 4 cottages and all the closes are named and acreages given]

The property was leased by the trustees of Arlidge's charity to Richard Taylor of Thorpe, yeoman in 1714, to Richard Taylor of Thorpe, yeoman, in 1735, to William Smith, yeoman, in 1755-1775, to Bernard Henry Smith of Ludford Magna, farmer, in 1839, to Frances Galland of Welton Hill, near Hull, Co. York, widow, in 1850, to Bernard Henry Smith in 1861, to Luther Adams of Thorpe, farmer, in 1875, and to Luther Adams and Isaac Crowther Adams, farmers, in 1886.
