| Description | Collection of material relating to Mrs Mary Doreen Wright, specifically including her wartime (1939-1945) diaries written to her husband, Gilbert Francis Moncreiff Wright, an RAF pilot shot down over France in May 1940. The collection also includes personal and business correspondence and financial papers, artwork produced by Doreen, medals relating to the Amateur Swimming Association and the British Empire Games, 1930, photographs and newspaper cuttings.
