DescriptionCopy release by Robert Parker of Salford, esq. to Richard Bloxam of Alcester, surgeon, reciting a feoffment by John Pratt of Kenswick, Worcs to Ann Thrupp, widow [his daughter] of Alcester of Courts Close, adjoining Bleachfield Street [etc] & barn, 2 acres meadow, etc [1684]; deed confirming fine, property to Ann, now wife of William Washbourne of Hinlipp; marriage settlement of John Yarsley & Alicia Washborne [1709]; sale to William Parker [1711]; his will [PCC, 1725] setting up charity for providing coats & hats for 6 poor men & boys in Salford; jointure of Millicent Parker [1738-46]; allotment under enclosure of Alcester Heath. Now for £217 sells the allotment to Bloxam.
Attached to same abstract of later transactions, 1824-1866, ending with conveyance from Frances Lyttelton Purton & Mary Purton to Charles Hall. With wrapper endorsed 'Documents relating to a charity of 6 coats and 6 hats to poor men or boys in the parish of Salford payable from lands in the parish of Alcester belonging to Stephen Ballard Esq'. (Found loose in box 109).
