Search Tip: An asterisk can be used as a wildcard when searching to replace a whole word, part of a word or as a search term in itself. The asterisk can be added at any place in the search term as appropriate.

Some examples of wildcard use are as follows: Church* will return results for Church and Churches; Parish of St* Wellesbourne will return results for the Parish of St Peter Wellesbourne; 196* will return results for all records with a date of between 1960 and 1969; CR123* will return results for all records with a CR reference between CR1230 and CR1239 etc.
