(now deposited at Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust Record Office, Stratford); copy of Savage's transcript of Archer's account book and his correspondence also deposited at Stratford; transcript of Sir Simon Archer's notebookss formerly in the posession of H.R. Ashford (now deposited at County Record Office, Warwick); transcripts of Archer letter book and Dugdale Mss. in the Bodleian Library, Oxford; various notes from Ms. and printed sources. The above are almost entirely in Styles' hand. In addition there are a number of photocopies from Ms. and printed works. These were used in the preparation of a revised and corrected version of this paper. Manuscript and typescript versions of this are also present. |
