DescriptionDeed of gift by John Hanson, late of Kenelworth [Kenilworth], and his wife Katherine, once the wife of John Boteler of Kenelworth, to Henry Walsche and Thomas Griswold of Kenelworth, of all their lands and tenements with appurtenances in Wodecote within the demesne of the Earl of Warwick, which Katherine lately had by the gift of Henry and Thomas, to be held of the capital lord of the fee for the term of her life, with clause of sealing.
Witnesses: Geoffery Boxell of Kenelworth, Roger Kendale of the same, Thomas Lynd of the same, John Roddok of Wodecote and William Wynbusch of the same and many others.
Dated at Wodecote, Wednesday betore the feast of St Barnabas the Apostle 14 Hen VI.
Endorsed with a note of the land being once Boteler's, date and number "XXI" in ink.
Seals: two, attached by tags, one with the initial letter N [or ?H] surmounted by a crown, the other partially damaged and unclear.
