DescriptionIndenture of agreement to lead the uses of a fine and for the suffering of a recovery between Robert Brome of Woodlow, parish of St Nicholas, Warwick, esquire, Henry Brome his son and heir, Thomas Brome of Fisherwick, Staffordshire, gent, John Brome of Fisherwick, gent, and Skeffington Brome of Woodlow, gent, brothers of Robert Brome, Thomas Glover of the borough of Warwick, clerk and Anne his wife, of the 1st part, Sir Henry Puckering alias Newton of the Priory in or near Warwick, and Dame Elizabeth his wife, of the 2nd part, Simon Neale of the parish of St Clement Danes, Middlesex, gent, and Henry Keilway of London, gent, of the 3rd part, and Edward Warner of Warwick, gent, and John Hunt of Warwick, gent, of the 4th part, of the manor of Woodlow, its capital messuage, and several closes of land, etc (Calves Close or the Pingle, the Grove or Grove Field, Cock Shoot, Crabtree Meadow or Close, Square Field alias the Leas, Brome Field or Fields, Little Packmore, Ashfield alias Quarry Meadow with a great oak tree, Lea Meadow, Square Meadows, Long Meadow, Hill Field, Spring Meadow, Dowry Field and Dowry Field Meadows) in the parishes of St Nicholas and St Mary, Warwick, and Bakers House with Bakers Close, Merridues House, several closes of land, etc (Tanners Closes, Stockfish Field, Ox Leasowe, Benfords Close, Broome Close alias Sheepcote Leasowe, the Wood Closes alias Sheepcote Close with cottage, Great Rushbed Meadow, Heath or Heathy closes, three closes called High Wood, Middle Wood and Cole Wood, Foxberry Woods, Grassy Fields, and Cow Pasture, with parcel of meadow and the brook or river called the Avon), in Woodlow, Leek Wootton, Over Woodcote and Nether Woodcote, in consideration of £5238 paid by Puckering to Robert Brome and Henry Brome and £38 by Puckering to Thomas Glover and Anne his wife.
