| Description | Indenture of assignment of mortgage by James Mollett of Knightsbridge, Middlesex, gent, to Francis Bowles of the parish of St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex, esquire, of several pieces of land in the manor of Knightsbridge with Westburn Green, containing 11 acres, being part of the Squabbs and Middle Gore, late in the occupation of Alexander Bond, husbandman, and then of James Mollett, lying between Knightsbridge and Kensington in the parish of St Margaret's, Westminster, Middlesex and a messuage built on part of the land, to be held for the residue of a term of 31 years, to secure £300, with provision for repayment of £309 on 26 February 1685, with recital of indenture of lease dated 26 May 1684 from Humphrey Tomlinson to James Mollett.
