| Description | Indenture of assignment of mortgage by Francis Bowles of the parish of St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex, esquire, by the appointment of James Mollett of Knightsbridge, Middlesex, gentleman, to Sir Thomas Janson of Tunbridge, Kent, baronet, of several pieces of land in the manor of Knightsbridge and Westburn Green, containing 11 acres, being part of the Squabbs and Middle Gore, late in the occupation of Alexander Bond, husbandman, and then of James Mollett, lying between Knightsbridge and Kensington in the parish of St Margaret's, Westminster, Middlesex and a messuage built on part of the land, to be held for the residue of a term of 31 years, to secure £300, with recital of indenture of lease dated 26 May 1684 from Humphry Tomlinson to James Mollett and assignment of 25 Aug 1684 from Mollett to Bowles.
