DescriptionIndenture of assignment of mortgage by William Simonds, citizen and vintner of London, at the request of Roger Price of Westbury, Buckinghamshire, esquire, to Frances Langford of London, widow, of a messuage and close of ground containing 5 acres in the parish of St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex (in the tenure of William Peare the elder and William Peare the younger), a messuage with garden called the New Neat House in the said parish of St Martin with a parcel of meadow containing 10 acres lately enclosed and part of Abbots Meadow, and 11 acres 3 roods of meadow in the parishes of St Margaret, Westminster and St Martin in the Fields (late in the tenure of John Packer), to secure £1000, to be held for the remainder of a term of 500 years, in consideration of £1000 paid by Langford to Simonds and 5 shillings by Langford to Price, with provision for repayment of £1050 by 26 February next, reciting mortgage of 11 Nov 1679.

Endorsed as being an assignment "on Tutlefeilds Gardens", and with number "T.12".
