Description | Indenture of assignment of mortgage by Frances Langford of London, widow, at the request of Roger Price of Westbury, Buckinghamshire, esquire, to Thomas Price of London, woollen draper, of a messuage and close of ground containing 5 acres in the parish of St Martin in the Fields, Middlesex (in the tenure of William Peare the elder and William Peare the younger), a messuage with garden called the New Neat House in the said parish of St Martin with a parcel of meadow containing 10 acres lately enclosed and part of Abbots Meadow, and 11 acres 3 roods of meadow in the parishes of St Margaret, Westminster and St Martin in the Fields (late in the tenure of John Packer), to secure £1000, to be held for the remainder of a term of 500 years, in consideration of £1000 paid by Thomas Price to Frances Langford and 5 shillings by Thomas Price to Roger Price, with provision for repayment of £1050 by 25 June 1689, reciting mortgage of 11 Nov 1679 and assignment of 27 Feb 1685 [1686]. 25 June 4 Jas II 1688.
