DescriptionDeed of gift in fee tail by Thomas de Synythewhait, parson of the church of Watlous [Watlass] and William de Synythewhait, parson of the church of Aynderby [Ainderby], to Sir William le Scrop, knight and his male heirs, of the manor of Ellerton on Swale, to be held of the capital lord of the fee: if William le Scrop dies without male heirs, the manor passes to his brother Richard and his male heirs, and, failing them, to the rightful heirs of William le Scrop.
