DescriptionLetters Patent of Queen Elizabeth granting a lease to Robert Bickerton, of several properties: tenements, cottages, barns, gardens, etc in High Pavement, Castle Street, Church Street in le Bryttaine, Rother Cheaping, High Cheaping, the Horsemarket, Walditch, Hogesford, Saltisford, Smithford Street alias Smith Street, St Nicholas Street, "beyond the bridge" and West Street, in the town of Warwick, and a tenement in Stratford, all formerly premises of the Guild of Holy Trinity and St George: an annual rent of 11s 8d, a barn between the gate and suburbs of Warwick, three closes of land and pasture lying in the fields of Warwick, and lands in Wormleighton, all formerly premises of the Priory of St Sepulchre, Warwick: pastures in Myton Field, lands in Goodbridge, Whitnash, Barford, "Swacliff", Sutton iuxta Brayles and Longley, late of the Guild of Holy Trinity and St George: and lands at Cosby, Leicestershire, late of the monastery of Leicester Meadows. There are two terms of lease: firstly, for 31 years at the annual rent of £23 3s, on the properties at Warwick and Stratford, which formerly belonged to the Guild of Holy Trinity and St George: and secondly, for 21 years at the annal rents, respectively, of £4 7s on properties at Warwick formerly belonging to the Priory of St Sepulchre, 32s 4d for the other properties in Warwickshire of the Guild of Holy Trinity and St George, and 16s 3s for the lands at Cosby.
