DescriptionIndenture of lease by Thomas Fissher of the suburbs of Warwick, esquire, and Walter Smarte of the town of Warwick, yeoman, of a close of land lying between the lane to Wedgnock Park and a pasture called Priors Grove (extending to a pasture called Cumbwell), and a little close late in the tenure of John Chapman, for the remainder of a term of 61 years from the feast of St Michael 26 Hen VIII [29 Sep 1534] at the annual rent of 46s 8d, reciting a lease dated 8 Apr 26 Hen VIII [1535] made by the Prior and Convent of the lately dissolved house of "the Sepulcurs" in the suburbs of Warwick (at the annual rent of 13s 4d).
