DescriptionIndenture of assignment by Richard Crane, citizen and upholsterer of London, to Joseph Battesson of the borough of Warwick, grocer, of a share or part of the residue of several terms of 500 years [from 10 Mar 1694], relating to the mills, engine, cistern, pipes and waterworks for the town of Warwick, at the annual rents of £5 and 2s 6d, in consideration of £55, with recitals of indentures dated 10 March 1693 [1694], 25 Mar 1704, 20 June 1706 and 1 Nov 1709 and that John William had died and left his share of the waterworks in his will to his brother-in-law Richard Crane.
