DescriptionCounterpart indenture of lease by Sir Thomas Puckeringe of Warwick, baronet, to Thomas Yardley of Warwick, butcher, of a messuage in the High Street (between lands of Thomas Shackspere, Robert Watts, draper, and Sir Thomas Puckeringe) and a barn with 2 bays and a garden in Brittayne Lane in Warwick (then in the tenure of Thomas Yardley), the messuage to be held for a term of 21 years from the feast of St Michael [29 Sep] 1614 and the barn and garden for a term of 21 years from the feast of the Annunciation last past [25 March], both at the annual rents of 26s 8s, plus a couple of fat capons at the feast of St John the Baptist [probably 24 June], in consideration of £6.
