DescriptionCounterpart indenture of lease by Sir Henry Puckering alias Newton of the Priory in or near the borough of Warwick, baronet, to John Robins of Lillington, husbandman, and his son, Thomas Robins of Lillington, husbandman, of a messuage, barn, stable, garden, orchard and yard, with two little closes (1 acre 1 rood 27 perches) adjoining the yard, called the Lone Yard and the Lone Yard Close, a a little close called Gyns Close (1 acre 3 roods 13 perches) near a house late in the occupation of John Holtham, and two yardlands (c72 acres) of arable land etc, in the joint occupation of John and Thomas Robins and reputed to have been occupied by John Nichols and then Peter Profit: and a messuage, barn, stable, garden, orchard and yard, with an adjoining close called the Home Close (1 acre) and three-quarters of a yardland (c27 acres), in the joint occupation of John and Thomas Robins and reputed to have been been occupied by George Colledge, all in Lillington in the (with reservation of timber, trees, etc to Sir Henry), to be held from 25 March next for a term of 21 years, at the annual rent of £20 12s 6d, with an additional 5 shillings for each rood ploughed of land which had not been ploughed "within the Memory of Man".
