DescriptionIndenture of agreement between Sir Thomas Puckering of the Priory near Warwick, knight and baronet, High Sheriff of Warwickshire, and Richard Lacell of Warwick, yeoman, Gaoler of the County Prison, for the good performance of the several duties and responsibilities of the office of Gaoler by Richard, with provision for the voiding of several bonds entered into on 27 December 1623 with Sir Thomas by Richard and assorted partners, (Ambrose Lacell in several sums of £600, £300 and £100, and William Stratford, barber, Robert Wates, draper, Edward Raynesford, gent, William Lea, mercer, John Cox, innholder, and Humpfrey Craine, mercer, all of Warwick, each in £20).
