DescriptionDeed of quitclaim by Nicholas Chowne of the borough of Warwick, gent, to Sir Thomas Puckering, baronet, of a sum of £100 and an annuity of 20 marks, having recited that the £100 had been bequeathed to Chowne in the will of Lady Jane Puckering, deceased (of which Sir Thomas was the executor), in lieu of the annuity, and Nicholas had agreed to give Sir Thomas £100 in return for a fine of the house where he was living in Warwick, together with St Michael's Meadow and part of St Nicholas Meadow, which had been leased for a term of 99 years to him for his life, and the lives of his wife Mary, son John and daughter Elizabeth, by indenture of 18 May last past at the annual rent of 53s 4d.
