TitleLetter from Thomas W Waller to his father, with postscript by Horace Walpole
Date20 Mar 1815
DescriptionWritten from Richmond to Pope's Villa, Twickenham.
Thomas writes that Horace thinks it right to let his father know the holidays begin next Thursday, but wants to be allowed to come early on Wednesday: he hopes that his parents and the rest are well and that he has got his servants comfortably about him. Horace Walpole adds that, according to the father's wish, Wathen has written it all himself and that he is not to think HW put into his head about coming on Wednesday: he thinks Wathen has improved in his exercises, if not much: he thought JWW would have returned home by that time.
