Description | Letter (341/136 ), written from Brighton: her writing to let him know of the regard and affection she had for Lady Howe and how she laments the loss of so attached and kind a friend: enquiries about him, being grateful for his past kind attentions to Ernest and King George IV, with hope his health will not suffer from the shock: the many years of friendship between the Howe family and her own, which makes them feel the loss of the last of Lord Howe's daughters: the consolation to him of knowing that Lady Howe was very sensible of his attentions during her illness, which she expressed in letters to her.
