Description | Written from KP [Kensington Palace], to Hastings Writing of having heard from Lady Stuart of Rothsay of his son's excellent conduct in the Embassy, employed much by Lord Stuart and adding to the good name he already has, being fit company for those social circles: her being glad to bring him news which is bound to be a source of pride to him: hope of Lady Howe being better: her own problems with her eye, being made worse by the cold air in spite of attempts to shield it when out in the carriage: the possibility of her removal to Brighton: news of invitation by the King to accompany him to the Pavilion, but her disinclination to accept.
