DescriptionDisappointment at having missed him a second time: wish in future for him to let her know the day and probable hour of his calling (except when unexpectedly in town): learning of Lord H [Howe] being forced to resign and the government remaining, and wondering she will find how the Queen, who had been particulalrly well: her faithfully continuing the oil silk bandage which creates mositure, although after taking it off in the morning, she feels her forehaed is chilly and puts a warmed handkerchief to wipe off the mositure: having taken preparation made by Sir Henry [Halford], with the result of less susceptibility of flushing: hope of seeing him soon: receipt of note from M [sister Mary] of the Queen behaving beautifully under trail, as she always does.
