Thanks for his letter that day and the excellent accounts of his son: proof of his strength having recovered, as much as his sight, with being able to take so much exercise: hope of all those dear to his heart being well on Saturday, when he proposes to return to Hastings: his original intention being to leave the next day to be with Waller, but being pressed to stay longer there.
