Acknowledgement of receipt of letter: the King's sailing having gone very well, but ,on arriving on shore, his feeling heat in his eye and feverish all over him, althougn better later: at breakfast the King saying he felt he was making ground, and his eye not appearing to be more inflamed: the King saying he felt low but fights against it: his conversing comfortably, proof to the prince that in company his thoughts turn from his own situation: Colonel Taylor's having made an abstract of his letter on the King's eye: their hope of seeing him on Sunday.
