TitleLetter from Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge, to Sir Jonathan Wathen Waller
Date23 Jan 1839
DescriptionWritten from Cambridge House.
Copying an abstract of a letter of the 9th from the Crown Prince, which he knows will be of interest: the Prince's first visit probably occurring early next winter, with a decision to be made on a main operation: there being an operation of some sort, primary or secondary, the process being divided into two stages, performed with a year's interval: the measles having not injured the eye, with an amendment clearly visible: a possibility of it being performed at the end of the month, depending on the weather, but nothing to be decided until Graefe comes: the rooms occcupied by the Prince having been fitted up for the operation.
Sheet, with 1½ pages of text.
