Consideration £250. Whereas John Clarke, late of Warwick gave the rents and profits arising from all his freehold property in Warwick, formerly in the respective occupations of the Widow Lapworth, Richard Smith and Charles Barlow, now of Lapworth, Smith and Barlow, to his wife Ann Clarke in his will dated 30 Nov 1887. On her death the four cottages in Brook Street passed to his son William Clarke. On 14 May 1888 John Clarke added a codicil to his will giving No 53 Brook Street to his daughter Sophia Miller and appointed William Clarke joint Trustee and Executor of his will. John Clarke died on 16 Jul 1888 and the will proved in District Registry of Birmingham in the Probate Division of the High Court. William Clarke died on 3 Sept 1888 at Banbury, Oxford, leaving two sons, Horace John and William Frank. Ann Clarke, widow of John Clarke, died on 1 Nov 1887. The consideration of £250 from the sale to be split equally between Horace and William Clarke.
