Description | Collector's Ledgers are a separate sequence of ledgers completed for each district within the area covered by a Guardians' Committee. Each ledger generally includes the following accounts: 'In-maintenance', Outdoor Relief, and Mental patients. Each entry gives Case Paper no. and name of person chargeable (i.e. the person receiving relief), the name and address of the contributor and the weekly payments due. Other papers of the Collector relate to receipts and payments, recording similar information to that given in the ledgers |
