DescriptionBy reward of Sir John Bourychier, knight, are agreed that Thomas or his assigns, shall pay William or his assigns £20 of lawful money of England: 20 marks at the feast of St. John the Baptist next and 10 at Christmas; if Thomas defaults in the payments, if will be lawful for William or his assigns to occupy a messuage and a yardland in the fields and village of Browneswaver which Sir John Bourychier, knight and Edward Mirrell of Lutterworth had at the gift and feoffment of John Edmond of Lutterworth, for the use of William, without any hindrance or interruption from the said Thomas, until the £20 is paid; when Thomas is to have the lands. Moreover William is to pay John Edmond 53s. 4d. from the 20 marks. Also William will withdraw all suits pending between Thomas, John Edmond and himself, at his own cost, between now and Christmas, 5th May, 8 Edward IV.
