Title	Memorandum book: originally a receipt book, most of whose pages were removed by a later user. More than half the book was employed by Sir Thomas Ward to record his proceedings in Petty Sessions. He also made notes of the various Acts of Parliament relevant to his work, and of precedents; from 1766 when he qualified for the second time as a Justice, until his death in 1778. The remainder of the book is occupied by an alphabetical list containing snippets of information on a variety of subjects ranging from Acre to Yew, in a different hand.
