DescriptionPeter Willes swears that he has not diverted the course of the River Leam. He likewise swears that the charge made against George Browne of Radford Semele of damaging the ground by failing to have a water gate on his mill is false. Sworn before Robert Nicholas. Includes a statement by Peter Willes that Hugh Bates was presented by the grand jury at the last assizes for commiting perjury before the water bailiffs on 18th April 1653 for presenting this and other things.
