Description | Regulations for bell ringing; rules of the fraternity as regards bell ringers, 1849; minutes of the Chapter of the Fraternity 1849-1872 (in April 1849 this church organisation was named "The Holy Guild or Fraternity of St. John Baptist in the Parish of Aston Cantlow" and was said to consist of seven classes, the more important ones being the clergy, lay clerks of the Quire, the choristers and bell ringers. In July 1849 the Fraternity changed its name to become the Guild of Holy Cross); rules, duties and other memoranda relating to the Guild.
