| Description | Under the Local Government Act of 1894, secular functions of the parish vestry were transferred to parish councils. Caldecote, however, decided not to apply for a separate parish council and as with many smaller parishes, the functions were transferred to parish meetings (s. 19(4)). After 1894, therefore, there is a separate parish meeting minute book. |
