These entries, probably in a contemporary hand, may be on a sheet which has survived from the original paper register, although the parchment copy has been lost, or it may be one torn from a book, on which entries have been copied, though there must have been at least one other sheet, as the first entry mentions `anno praedicto' [1595/6] and 1596 occurs in the margin for the next entry; found enclosed in DR0252/8. |
