| Description | On the second leaf (paper) at the front of this register there is a note in ink:
"It begins A.D. 1538, & goes down to 1725 - containing Baptms: Marriages & Burials
There is an interval, of no entry, from 1665 to 1671."
Immediately under this is added in pencil:
"Qy was not this during the Plague; which is said to have visited this place; & that the Rector died of it. I observe the last entry, 1665 is the Burial of the Minister." |
